Zhao Yujiang, Senior Investment ManagerMadam Zhao has served at the leading edge of China’s commercial and economic development throughout her career, starting as one of the first Chinese citizens to be sent abroad to garner the skills for developing the country’s economy. She worked for seven years as a member of the committee established to advise the PRC government on policies for liberalisation of the Chinese economy, and was instrumental in guiding economic policy and the transformation of the State-controlled economy into a market-oriented one. After leaving the public sector Madam Zhao led the entry of the first Western stockbrokerage firm into China and with it managed the underwriting of 21 listings of Chinese companies in nine years. As Senior Investment Manager for Mahon China, Madam Zhao has responsibility for deal flow strategy and investment structuring and negotiation. She also serves on the boards of JPMorgan Chinese Investment Trust Plc. and Boshi Fund Management Co. Ltd. Zhao Yujiang is an economics graduate of Oxford University. |

Simon Huang Chunyu, Investment ManagerMr Huang is a graduate of China's Northeast University of Finance and Economics and of the China Foreign Trade and Economics University. He also holds an MBA from the China Europe International Business School (CEIBS), China's leading business school. Mr Huang has 12 years' experience in China investment, initially with Power Pacific Corporation in Beijing, analysing infrastructure investment opportunities, and then as an investment manager with Asia Strategic Investment Corporation (ASIMCO) where he led a multifunctional team to review and supervise operational performance of two sino-foreign joint ventures with investment of US$150m. Since joining Mahon China in 1998, Mr Huang has successfully overseen exits of four sino-foreign joint ventures, has undertaken due diligence of more than 30 investment opportunities in various sectors such as auto parts, machinery, infrastructure and IT and has monitored eight sino-foreign joint ventures. He has also led negotiations establishing three joint ventures. Mr Huang has strong nationwide networks in investment institutions and government organisations and takes a leading valuation and negotiation role within the team. |

Mei Xiaorong, Investment ManagerMs Mei is the investment manager at Mahon China who has particular responsibility for deal origination. She is also Mahon China's lead in maintaining relations with government bodies around the country. Her extensive business experience and networks aid her in both these roles. Prior to joining Mahon China she had an industrial career with Fu Hua Foodstuffs, a sino-Hong Kong joint venture, and Inchcape. As part of the investment team, Ms Mei has undertaken due diligence across various sectors including logistics, textiles, infrastructure, machinery and electronic appliances. She is also responsible for domestic legal and accounting deal compliance. Ms Mei holds a diploma in business from the Overseas Chinese University, Beijing, and a postgraduate diploma in economics from Beijing's Capital University of Economics and Business. |

William Baker, Investment ManagerMr Baker has been with Mahon China since 1996 and has lived in China for over 20 years. Prior to joining Mahon China, Mr Baker worked in China's technology sector, including three years as the managing director of a company focused on broadcast media systems. At Mahon China Mr Baker has successfully managed investments in the telecoms and electronics sectors and assisted in the origination and management of a major textiles investment. Mr Baker has specialist market expertise in technology and retail. At Mahon China he is also responsible for all international fund compliance and liaison and with overseas service providers to the funds managed by Mahon China. Mr Baker holds a BA in finance from the University of Texas, and an MBA from Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey. |

Peter Shi Jiwu, Investment ManagerMr Shi joined Mahon China in 2006 after a career in agribusiness in both Australasia and China. He brings depth to the team's provision of corporate advisory services across the agriculture and primary products sectors. For over 10 years Mr Shi worked at the Xilingol Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science in Inner Mongolia, before pursuing advanced business education in New Zealand and a career in the private sector. This included working in various roles for both domestic and overseas companies focused on developing the dairy cattle industry in China. Mr Shi holds a BA from the Inner Mongolia Normal University of Hohhot and a Postgraduate Diploma of Business Administration from Victoria University of Wellington. |

Matthew Dillon, Investment ManagerMr Dillon joined Mahon China in 2007 and leads Mahon China's corporate advisory business. Mr Dillon brings to the team experience from a broad career in both industry and finance. He worked in resources in Australia before moving into finance. Mr Dillon worked for both HSBC and Commerzbank in London and in China has worked in various executive and finance roles for trading companies in Shanghai, Beijing and Qingdao.He has particular experience working with the international arms of Chinese companies and with stressed sino-foreign JVs. Mr Dillon holds a BCom from the Univeristy of Tasmania. He has also studied Mandarin at the Beijing Institute of Technology and is currently qualifying as an Australian Certified Public Accountant (CPA). |

Wu Jianbo, Investment ManagerMr Wu joined Mahon China in 2008 from a background in finance and economics and brings a rigorous economic focus to the team. Mr Wu initially worked as a lecturer in macroeconomics at Zhejiang province's Wanli University, where he also had responsibility for the business school's international relations. From this role, Mr Wu moved into private equity, working with an investment company with holdings in hotels, auto services, construction materials manufacturing and property development. He has also worked for AFX News, an international financial newswire. Mr Wu holds a BSc in economics from the University of Nottingham and an MSc in politics from Oxford. |

Gloria Huang Jingjing, Investment ManagerMs Huang joined Mahon China in 2002. She is responsible for identifying and developing investment opportunities, takes the lead for the team in managing independent advisors and contractors to Mahon China and performs market research. AdvisorsJames O'Neill, Advisory Board DirectorMr O'Neill was a Senior Vice-President at the Trust Company of the West (TCW) before joining Mahon China in 2004. At TCW, he was responsible for originating, structuring, marketing and managing emerging markets private equity funds, with primary focus on three funds totalling $420m invested in 17 Chinese companies.Mr O'Neill has worked across the investment process in China including due diligence, structuring, documenting and exiting portfolio investments. Prior to this Mr O'Neill was also a Senior Vice-President in the alternative asset management group at Dean Witter Reynolds. Mr O'Neill holds a BA (Hons) from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr O'Neill is based in New York. Alexander McKinnon, Advisory Board DirectorMr McKinnon works on the corporate advisory side of the business and has completed projects providing strategic advice and analysing acquisitions across the energy, primary products, specialist manufacturing, textiles, aviation, dairy and healthcare sectors.Mr McKinnon read economics and history at St John's College, Cambridge, followed by study at the University of Provence and at Tsinghua University in Beijing.
